Determinants of Outcomes of Surgical Treatment for Early Stage Breast Cancer: Is DCIS different than Invasive Disease?

The primary goal concerns examination of the psychological and clinical determinants associated with surgical treatment choice, patient satisfaction, and health-related quality of life.

Dr. Janz is part of a multidisciplinary team working on a program of breast cancer research from the University of Michigan Medical School, University of Michigan School of Public Health, Wayne State University, and the University of Southern California. The team is directed by Dr. Steven Katz. Dr. Janz oversees the Quality of Life aspects of the grants.
